What is a Democracy?
Can we truly have a democracy when the democratic process is clearly sabotaged? From the biased media coverage to the suspicious primaries, wealthy donors have drowned out the influence of the common interests. This is the pattern of fascist capitalism. Let’s look for a moment at the fundamental problem- if we are to create a solution, we must understand the roots of the issue and just how deep they go.
The recent scheme at the Arizona primaries raises huge concerns . People’s party elections were tampered with; a lifetime democrat was changed to an independent, one was labeled a libertarian. These are just a few examples.
Consider that the same familiar tactics were employed in the 2000 elections rigged Florida "recount" placing favor in the hands of the Bush administration. Bush went forward to wage an endless “war on terror” which has created instability, chaos, death, and destruction in several Middle East countries to this day. His declarations resulted in increased security measures which ultimately chiseled away civil liberties in the US, fast tracked the Patriot Act, making people easier to monitor and control. The kickback? Bush’s war made some conspicuous political leaders (Dick Cheney and George Bush alike) very, very wealthy at the expense of life, liberty, and justice. This was, and still is a crime against humanity.
How could a president make decisions reflecting an entire nation drown out the common concerns? Nearly bankrupting the US all while hand over fist raking in money for himself? Who were Bush’s biggest campaign contributors and what allegiance did that create for the Bush Administration?

George Bush junior was sworn in as President on January 20, 2001, a mere 7 months and 22 days before the incident which would change history for America, and much of the world- September 11, 2001.
“9/11 created an excuse for America to enter into further war. It reinforced an extension on the war George Bush senior began in 1993. What is the war on Iraq and Afghanistan really about? To get a clearer picture we can review the many overlapping conflicts of interest from the US government to big business. Oil and the US dollar are interconnected. The US dollar is a world currency and oil is traded in US dollars. If the value of oil increases or decreases, so does the value of the dollar. George W. Bush (junior) whose father waged the initial war on “terror” in Iraq (an oil rich country) owns an oil company. Arbusto 79 Limited also coincidentally did business with none other than the Bin Laden family, the same Bin Laden family whose son was blamed for heading the group allegedly responsible for 9/11. George H. Bush (senior) is a member of the Carlisle Group, a venture capital firm heavily invested in arms sales. On the morning of September 11th, 2001 while America watched in horror as the symbolic twin towers fell, George Bush senior was present at a meeting held by the Carlisle Group, among others present was Shafig Bin Laden, brother of Osama. The Bush family, among many other corporations and financiers, stood to make a lot of money by perpetuating this manufactured and shameful war.
“By invading Iraq the Bush administration has completed a scheme, adopted by the power elite representing the US oil industry, of controlling most of the world oil reserves, as seen by the US military presence in the Arabian Peninsula and Central Asia where most of the world oil reserves are found. This has tremendous implications for the US oil industry, which filled the coffers of the power elite with unprecedented wealth.”
From the Book: Universal Hidden Insight: The Connection Between Love, Existence and Reality. Insight 17.
ONE THING IS CLEAR: the drastic actions taken at the behest of corrupt politicians has paved a destructive road which led from 9/11, to this:
Regardless of your political stance and preference for the next presidential candidate. We should all be able to agree that the very basis for a Democracy, is the assumption that every vote is counted, and that the voice of each individual collectively determines the direction of government. The majority of us are aware this has not been the case for many, many decades-which is why the Bernie Sanders campaign has gained so much momentum. We want a leader who represents the common interests, not just that of the elite.
When Politics is Run Like a Sporting Event
Money in politics, conflicts of interest, Citizens United, and now the TPP are all central issues in our political system today. These conflicts of interest allow wealthy donors to essentially “buy” elections, to push their agenda’s, to ensure corporate bailouts, and to create a climate of suppression of the lower classes, to continue mitigating the existence of a middle class, and to ensure the stability of the elite upper class. If you want to understand who a political candidate represents you have to follow the money. Looking at their sponsors, donors, and contributors to which they may be (and in the case of those corporations or banks’ advancing millions, most certainly ARE) indebted. I encourage EVERYONE to stay up to date (to the day*) to verify the contributors to their preferred candidates campaign.

BERNIE SANDERS top donors:
Bernie sanders donors are largely working class hero’s, people like you and me. Unions, and organizations that are fighting for social justice and equality but have been unable to compete with the millions tossed around by corporate interests until now. Bernie, if he stays on his path of no corporate donors (remember Obama did the same thing at first but fell off last minute with donations from big banks), has the right idea. For his challenges of big business intermixed with government he has been called a socialist, lets be clear about the difference between socialism and democratic socialism.
Democratic socialism gives more importance to a democratic character. While having almost the same principles as that of socialism, democratic socialism believes in a socialism through the ballot box. It states that any change in government and society should be through fair elections." (reference above)
Let's consider the alternative we are in the midst of- capitalism: an economic and political system in which a country's trade and industry are controlled by private owners for profit, rather than by the state.
"The American people must make a fundamental decision. Do we continue the 40-year decline of our middle class and the growing gap between the very rich and everyone else, or do we fight for a progressive economic agenda that creates jobs, raises wages, protects the environment and provides health care for all? Are we prepared to take on the enormous economic and political power of the billionaire class, or do we continue to slide into economic and political oligarchy? These are the most important questions of our time, and how we answer them will determine the future of our country." https://berniesanders.com/issues/
This is why the powers behind the powers that be are in such a frenzy to alter the results of the primaries, and force the odds back in their favor. For those of us who believe in a fair election, NOW is the time to use our voices.
Hillary Clinton’s top donors:
If we consider history a lesson, once more we might appreciate the danger of voting in a candidate with this many backs to scratch back. Already many political analysts would argue Hillary is largely responsible for the destabilization of Syria.
“In the Milwaukee debate, Hillary Clinton took pride in her role in a recent UN Security Council resolution on a Syrian ceasefire: This is the kind of compulsive misrepresentation that makes Clinton unfit to be President. Clinton’s role in Syria has been to help instigate and prolong the Syrian bloodbath, not to bring it to a close.
In 2012, Clinton was the obstacle, not the solution, to a ceasefire being negotiated by UN Special Envoy Kofi Annan. It was US intransigence - Clinton’s intransigence (stubbornness)- that led to the failure of Annan’s peace efforts in the spring of 2012, a point well known among diplomats. Despite Clinton’s insinuation in the Milwaukee debate, there was (of course) no 2012 ceasefire, only escalating carnage. Clinton bears heavy responsibility for that carnage, which has by now displaced more than 10 million Syrians and left more than 250,000 dead.
As every knowledgeable observer understands, the Syrian War is not mostly about Bashar al-Assad, or even about Syria itself. It is mostly a proxy war, about Iran. And the bloodbath is doubly tragic and misguided for that reason. Saudi Arabia and Turkey, the leading Sunni powers in the Middle East, view Iran, the leading Shia power, as a regional rival for power and influence. Right-wing Israelis view Iran as an implacable foe that controls Hezbollah, a Shi’a militant group operating in Lebanon, a border state of Israel. Thus, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Israel have all clamored to remove Iran’s influence in Syria.”
She has proven her bounds for corruptibility to be quite deep- how much further would this corruption seep with her as our fearless (and morally inept) leader? Understand that the conflict in Syria was started to overthrow the current government, it is a proxy war to gain control and install a puppet leader (this is the template followed for most every American military occupation for the past several decades.) The result has been millions of women, children and families murdered, terrorized, and displaced, as well as creating a refugee problem for the entire world on a scale which is difficult to grasp, and further instigating (not mitigating) an already inflamed radial group.

Let’s examine the infamous Soros Fund Management. According to Wikipedia:
“Soros Fund Management is the primary adviser for the Quantum Group of Funds; a family of funds dealing in international investments. The company invests in public equity and fixed income markets worldwide, as well as foreign exchange, currency, and commodity markets, and private equity and venture capital funds. The company is reported to have large investments in transportation, energy, retail, financial, and other industries. The Soros family is well represented in the company's leadership; the founder's son Robert Soros is Deputy Chairman and President. In the 2016 election cycle, Soros Fund Management donated over $7 million to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign.”
Who is George Soros aside from the largest campaign contributor to the Clinton campaign? George Soros is one of the most politically active billionaires in the world. His ideas are in line with a global economy and the New World Order George Bush Senior introduced, which is essentially globalization; one world government, one world currency, the abolishment or religion and private opinion, a militarized police state, and in effect, a totalitarian regime.
So then what can we expect from a campaign driven by large corporations with such fascists views? More war, more inequality, and more disregard for human life.
Donald Trump’s top donors:
Well, Trump is not exactly funding himself as he self-proclaims.
“Donald Trump often says that he does not get enough credit for self-funding his presidential campaign. But as his recent financial disclosure reveals, he is not funding most of it. Instead, the majority of his campaign funding comes from donors. This quarter, the campaign received 73,942 “unsolicited donations” totaling about $3.7 million, according to a release from the campaign. That accounts for most of the $5.8 million the campaign has taken in to date. Trump has contributed to financing his campaign through in-kind gifts and loans.”
“I don’t need anybody’s money,” Donald Trump boasted in June during his rambling presidential announcement. “I’m using my own money. I’m not using the lobbyists. I’m not using donors. I don’t care. I’m really rich.” Four months later, though, and Trump’s carefully crafted image as a self-funded politician is starting to look as suspect as the idea that he’s a self-made man.
The latest crack in the façade comes by way of the Washington Post, which did some digging and found a super PAC—fittingly, named Make America Great Again—that, in the paper’s words, is “viewed by people familiar with [Trump’s] campaign as the sanctioned outlet for wealthy donors” and “as operating with his blessing.”

We have a chance RIGHT NOW, to turn the tides. To place control back into the hands of the people and to make the right choice for not only a nation, but for the world.
We need to make sure the world knows; not all of us are ignorant racist loudmouths, not all Americans are so oblivious that we cannot see the lies behind the military occupations, that the great majority of us recognizes (finally*) that money in politics has been the big bad wolf all along, and we want out of this war waging, race blaming, shameful game which is displacing and terrorizing hundreds of thousands of people in the middle east, and the world. That we want to stand for something more than capitalism, we want our democracy! And that we will stand on the *right side* of history, between justice and tyranny, and show the world that we are more than the corporations who think they own our country and the world, we are the real revolution!
